The solution

We engineered a mobile-first ERP with a PostgreSQL snapshot schema to secure profit integrity, stable security caching for fast queries, and an interactive analytics calendar that aggregates daily sales, expense reports, and net margins with a single click.

Key Features

1. Snapshot Pattern: Implemented a relational database schema that snapshots unit costs and product prices at the exact moment of sale. This prevents any subsequent catalog changes from altering historical financial records.
2. Split Payment Ledger: Designed a flexible ledger supporting complex combinations of payment methods (Cash, UPI, Credit, and Advance bookings) registered on a single checkout ticket.
3. RLS Query Optimization: Replaced nested subqueries with a stable security caching function in Postgres Row Level Security, reducing query row scans from $O(N)$ to $O(1)$ and yielding sub-50ms navigations.
4. Dynamic Analytics Dashboard: Built an interactive sales calendar grid showing daily invoice metrics, cost breakdowns, and net profit margins.
